You can connect to your Unix account (map your H drive) from any computer on campus:

1. On a Windows PC:
2. Open My Computer
3. Select: Tools --> Map Network Drive
4. Select a drive letter (traditionally "H")
5. Enter the following folder path (substituting your NetID): \\files\NetID
6. Select Finish
7. You may be prompted for your username and network password. Enter your NetID and your email password. Select Ok
8. Your files should now appear in a new window

Saving to your H-drive

• Drag your files into the H Drive explorer window, OR save from within an application by selecting File --> Save As and entering H: in the box labeled File Name

Opening files

• Open files directly from the H Drive explorer window, OR open from within an application by selecting File --> Open and entering H: in the box labeled File Name
